I love sneakers, gym shoes, tinny shoes what ever you want to call them or how ever you want to spell them for that matter…But we came across this up and coming sneaker skin designer Melissa Cook a while back and were completely blown away by the work that she was and is currently doing.

If your not familiar, sneaker skinning is when an artist takes a plain normally white pair of sneaks which acts as the his/her canvas and creates an original piece of artwork right on the shoe. Most designers use the very popular Air Force One’s to do this.

Now I don’t have to tell you how many celebrities rock these fashionable kicks…but here is the thing you don’t have to be a rapper or a movie star to get your very own pair of custom kicks. This very young designer has customers all over the world from Tokyo, San Diego, Cali, Miami and Australia.

Melissa will also be featured in the following magazines grahamphisher and deve8magazine in the very near future. She has also just recently broaden her services to include designing myspace web pages and T-Shirts.

My wife and I love this store but let’s be honest it is not the cheapest joint in town but eating healthly rarely is. Most of these stores have a hot bar full of goodies to warm you up as the tempurature drops.

But these coupon offers are a clear sign that the big grocery store chains are concerned about the current economic situation also.
